My sister just directed me to this page on the Denver Post website. There is a wonderful set of colour photos taken for the Farm Security Administration. I have seen many images taken for the FSA before, but this set is new to me. I love the colours and the clarity of the images and am especially amazed at how Alfred T. Palmer managed to get this shot below on large format. He must have been using a very lightweight field camera and had very steady hands.

The online gallery is definitely worth a look if you’re interested in historical colour photography.
